Inspired by the traditional Klepbroek worn by Dutch fishermen, these trousers reinterpret the original utilitarian design through a contemporary tailored silhouette.
The trousers are crafted from navy wool-blend suiting, bringing a refined finish to their practical origins. At the front, a structured flap conceals an invisible zip and fastens with two fabric-covered buttons. Front pockets provide everyday functionality while maintaining the clean lines of the design.
At the back, an adjustable buckle fastening allows the wearer to alter the waist position and fit. Two adjustable tabs extend from the side seams, each secured with a slider that allows the waistband to tighten or loosen as needed. The tabs emerge from flat-felled side seams, keeping the construction neat while reinforcing the garment’s utilitarian character.

Each pair of Klepbroek Trousers is individually made to order, with attention given to fit, construction and finishing.
The adjustable waist offers flexibility in how the trousers are worn. In addition, custom adjustments are welcome, including changes to length, fit and other individual details. Alternative fabrics and colours can also be explored upon enquiry, subject to material availability and sourcing.

Measurements & Fit
The Klepbroek Trousers offer a more flexible approach to sizing. Their adjustable back fastening allows the waist to sit at either a mid-rise or high-rise position, while the relaxed, wide-leg silhouette accommodates a range of body shapes.
Rather than following conventional single-size grading, the trousers are offered in inclusive size ranges. The adjustable buckle and sliders allow the waist to be tightened or loosened to achieve the preferred fit, giving each wearer greater flexibility in how the trousers sit and feel.
Available in Australian size ranges 6–8, 8–10 and 10–12.
